Apheus InformationTerms of Service

Thank you for choosing Apheus Solutions, LLC as your computer services provider. Use of our services are governed by the Terms of Service Policy set forth. PLEASE READ OUR TERMS OF SERVICE POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING ANY OF OUR SERVICES.

STANDARD SERVICE HOURS

Standard service hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and are scheduled by appointment only. An additional minimum service charge of $25.00 may be assessed for any service required outside of our standard service hours.

LOCAL SERVICE AREA

Our local service area is listed on our website. Any service performed outside of our local service area may be assessed a minimum charge of $25.00.

PICK-UP AND DELIVERY

We offer convenient pick-up and delivery options for your computer system. We charge a fee of $25.00 to make pick-ups and deliveries within our local service area.

SERVICE GUARANTEE

We guarantee requested computer repair services for seven (7) days following any on-site, off-site, or remote computer repair service call. Any subsequent changes made to the computer system by someone other than a Apheus Solutions, LLC technician will void this labor warranty. This guarantee only covers labor - it does not cover any parts, components, peripherals, or software.

EXTENDED SERVICE PACKAGE

We offer our computer repair clients an extended service guarantee for an additional fee. Extended Service Packages can only be purchased at the time of the service call, are non-transferrable, and non-refundable. Any subsequent changes made to the computer system by someone other than a Apheus Solutions, LLC technician will void the extended service. The extended service period begins at the end of the standard seven (7) day service guarantee and ends at the specified date in accordance with the package purchased. The Extended Service Package does not include any travel expenses associated with the service call or any other conditions as outlined in this policy. The Extended Service Package only covers labor - it does not cover any parts, components, peripherals, or software.

ADULT PRESENCE REQUIRED

An adult over the age of 18 must be present the entire time that a technician is on-site. If an adult is not present during the entire service call, the technician will terminate the service call and a cancellation fee of $25.00 may be assessed.

COMPUTER ACCESS

Computer must be accessible at the time of the service call. This includes safe physical access to the computer as well and access to administrative privileges on the computer system. If the technician determines that there is not reasonable access to the computer system, a cancellation fee of $25.00 may be assessed and the technician will terminate the service call.

OPERATING SYSTEMS

We will only provide service to computer systems utilizing the Microsoft Windows® 98 operating system or later. Some functions and services may be unavailable on some versions and is beyond our control. We do not currently service computers running Linux, Unix, or Mac OS. If the technician determines that the computer is not utilizing an operating system supported by our services, a cancellation fee of $25.00 may be assessed and the technician will terminate the service call.

CANCELING SERVICE CALLS

You must cancel or change an on-site service call at least two (2) hours in advance of the appointment. You may be charged a service fee of $25.00 if you fail to cancel or change a service call prior to the arrival of a technician. We reserve the right to change or cancel appointments at our discretion.

INTERNET CONNECTION

Some services may require an active high-speed internet connection. We are not responsible for providing an internet connection for these services.

ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE, PARTS, OR LABOR

Additional charges will apply for any additional software, parts, or labor required to service your computer system. We will notify you prior to performing any additional work. Software and parts used as part of the service work perfomed are non-returnable and non-refundable.

DATA BACKUP REQUIREMENTS

We are not responsible for lost, corrupted, or damaged data, software, programs, or any other type of information. It is the customer's responsibility to backup any important data prior to any service work.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

APHEUS SOLUTIONS, LLC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, OR DAMAGE ASSOCIATED WITH THE PURCHASE OR INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES WE SELL. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA, SOFTWARE, OR INFORMATION; LOSS OF USE OR DAMAGE TO COMPONENTS, PERIPHERALS, OR OTHER ELEMENTS OF THE COMPUTER SYSTEM OR NETWORK; DAMAGE RESULTING FROM THE LOSS OF ANY PORTION OF THE COMPUTER SYSTEM OR NETWORK; LOSS OF PRODUCTIVITY, PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER ASSOCIATED EXPENSES. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE PURCHASE OR INSTALLATION OF THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES WE SELL. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE SPECIFIC RESULTS FOR ANY OF THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES WE SELL.
